Melton Electric is proud to reveal our project with IHI E&C International Corporation to assist in the construction of their new headquarters. The IHI E&C International Corporation is a Houston-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company who provides energy solutions around the globe. The project consisted of IHI E&C’s newly leased, 158,050 square feet of space on floors three through eight of West Memorial Place II. If you take a look at the images below you can get a first-hand look of the space before any employees had moved in.

This was a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum project complete with a full LED lighting package, daylight harvesting lighting controls, and branch circuit metering for all loads. A Platinum level project is the highest certification given by the U.S. Green Building council, meaning they use less water and energy while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This allows the company with a great opportunity to not only reduce their carbon footprint but also save them in electricity expenses in the future.

The space contains multiple open collaboration spaces, conference rooms, training rooms, an emergency response room as well as open work areas for the future members of the IHI E&C International Corporation.

Melton Electric would like to thank IHI for the pleasure of working with them on this project. We are glad to help through providing expertise in both electrical and structured cabling, with our 45 years of experience in the industry, we are confident in our ability to bring a high quality of service to projects of any size. As our societies continue to become smaller and more technologically advanced, our need for a company that understands the complexities and interconnection of building systems will be crucial. Which is why we are proud to provide our experience in both electrical and structured cabling areas, to ensure every project can go just as planned.
